Justice Index (justiceindex.uk) is operated by HCEO LTD (Company No. 13112735), registered in England and Wales. HCEO LTD is the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection legislation.

2. What We Collect

The justiceindex.uk site itself does not require registration, does not use cookies for tracking, and does not collect personal data through forms.

We use Vercel for hosting, which may process standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance purposes. These logs are retained in accordance with Vercel's privacy policy and are not used for marketing or profiling.

3. Individual Platform Privacy

Each Justice Index platform (sentencing.uk, courts.uk, policing.uk, enforcement.uk, and others) may collect additional data through contact forms, user accounts, or interactive tools. Each platform has its own privacy policy covering the data it collects and how it is processed.

4. Third-Party Links

Justice Index platforms link to external government websites and data sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites.

6. Personal Information and Search Engines

Justice Index platforms do not publish personal information. Where government data sources contain personal details (such as company officer names from Companies House), we do not index these on search engines and take steps to prevent search engine caching of personal data pages.

Justice Index platforms are not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
